Why rent a condo instead of a hotel room?

Where do we start? Our condos are fully furnished, privately owned vacation homes that feature a living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. You get so much more living space when you rent a vacation home. If you are traveling with family or kids, the separate bedrooms are perfect to allow some to sleep while others enjoy the night in the living area without disturbing each other. You get a much better value for your money with a vacation home rental. Hotels near Disney World can be very expensive. For less than the price of a hotel room, you gain so much more space and amenities.

Are these timeshare units?

These are NOT timeshares. Our condos are privately owned rental properties and they are NOT for sale. There are no sales meetings or seminars to attend.

Does the condo have Internet access?

Wi-Fi internet access is included (at no additional charge). Instructions to connect to the network and password will be provided with arrival information. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is provided by the clubhouse property wide.

Does the condo have a kitchen?

Each condo has a full kitchen including stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker and toaster. There are pots and pans, dishes and utensils – there are enough basics that you should be able to easily prepare meals if you choose to eat at the condo. Conveniently, there are grocery stores within minutes from the condos.

Do I need to bring my own linens?

All linens are provided. There are blankets, sheets, pillows, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels and pool towels available for your use. Inside each condo are a full size washer and dryer with laundry soap.

Is a maid service provided?

Our condos are rented on a self catering basis. It will be cleaned prior to your arrival and again after you leave. For your convenience, there are basic cleaning supplies, vacuum, broom, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. if you have need during your stay.

Do you allow pets?

Sorry, no pets are allowed. In order to accommodate guests with pet allergies we do not allow any pets.

Do you allow smoking?

There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the condo. You can however smoke on the balcony or any of the outside common areas.

Will I need a rental car?

Yes. To get the most out of your vacation and to see Orlando, a car is a must. While taxis, Lyft, and Uber are available, depending on your plans, the cost for taxis would typically exceed the cost for a rental car.

Where do I pick up keys?

The condos have electronic keypad door locks on the doors so you will NOT have to stop at any office to pick up keys. Prior to your arrival date, we will email you arrival information for the condo. The door’s keypad door lock will be coded specifically for your stay and you can let yourself in at any time. The condo is located in a residential condominium community rather than a hotel-type environment. Think of it as your second home – you can come or go at your convenience.

What if I arrive late, how do I check-in?

Late arrival is not a problem at all. Prior to your arrival date, we will email you arrival information for the condo. The door has a keypad door lock which will be coded specifically for your stay and you can let yourself in at any time.

Is there a washer and dryer?

There is a full size washer and dryer inside each unit with laundry soap as well as an ironing board and iron. There are also basic cleaning supplies, a vacuum and a broom if you have need during your stay.

Is there a hair dryer?

Yes. There is a hair dryer located in each bathroom.

Are cribs, high chairs, and strollers available?

Yes. We have a high chair, pack n play and stroller (double, sit and stand style) available for your to use.  Please let us know if you would like to use any of them and we’ll be happy to make sure they are in the condo during your stay.

Are the condos near the pool?

Each condo is located in buildings directly next to the pool and is only a few steps away from the main pool, fitness room and tennis court. Please see our picture gallery for a map of Legacy Dunes to see how centrally located they are.

Is there a fee for parking?

Legacy Dunes is a gated community so once you are through the gate, you are welcome to park in any unmarked, uncovered space. There is ample parking available at no additional charge directly next to the building in which each condo is located.

What if I have a problem or an emergency while at the condo?

As responsible owners, we provide you with our phone numbers and are available 24/7. Many of our guests have expressed surprise that we are so available but we pride ourselves in making your vacation as smooth as possible. Simply call us and we will be able to answer any questions or make arrangements to fix any problems that you may encounter. We have local contacts in the area that are available to help should your issue require in-person assistance. Each condo is inspected when a guest departs and we do not expect you to have any problems at the condo, but in the event that something is wrong, simply call us and we will take care of it.
